How can I add/update the billing details that appear on my Socital invoice?

In the billing menu you can add or update the billing details that appear on your Socital invoice.

Log into your Socital account.
Click on your avatar on the top right corner.

Click on "Billing".

At the bottom left of the billing menu, you can find the billing details form.

To do any changes on your billing details, you always need to have your Company Legal Name filled.

Enter the billing details you wish to be shown on your Socital invoice.

  • Company Legal Name (required): this is the legal name of your company which will be shown on your Socital invoice.
  • Street (optional)
  • City (optional)
  • Zip Code (optional)
  • State (optional) 
  • Country (optional): this is the country in which your company is incorporated. The tax that you may or may not have to pay is calculated automatically based on the country.
  • VAT registration number (required): UK companies only. The VAT registration number appears only if you select United Kingdom as the country in which your company is incorporated.

Click "Save Changes".

Your changes have been saved successfully.


The "customer already exists" error

If you get this error while updating your billing details, then this means that you have another Socital account with the exact same company legal name.

Make sure to specify a different company legal name.
