To add Google login on your Socital onsite campaigns, you need to connect a Google app to your account.

1. Create a new project
You need a Google account to create a Google app.
- Log into your Google account.
- Go to Google developers console.
- Click on the dropdown.
- Click on New Project
- Enter a Project Name.
- Click on "Create".
- You will be taken to the Project dashboard.
2. Enable Google People API
- Click on "Enable APIs and Services".
- In the library search for Google People.
- Click on the "Google People API" in the search results.
- Click on "Enable".
- You will be redirected to a new screen for the People API.
3. Configure the consent oAuth screen
- Click on "Create Credentials"
- Make the following selections and click on "What credentials do I need?".
- In the popup that opens click on "Set up Consent Screen".
- Select "External" and click on "Create".
- Enter all information under "App information" "App domain".
- Add your website's domain (you need to authorize your domain before your app can go through verification).
- Add Developer contact information.
- Click on "Save and Continue".
- In the next step click on "Add or remove Scopes".
- Select the following two scopes from the list (note you might need to go to the second page of results to find these scopes).
- .../auth/userinfo.email (View your email address)
- .../auth/userinfo.profile (See your personal info, including any personal info you've made publicly available)
- Click on "Update".
- Click on "Save and Continue".
- Add test users if you wish and click on "Save and Continue".
- Scroll all the way down and click on "Back to Dashboard".
4. Publish your Google App
Click on "oAuth consent screen" and click on "Publish App"
- Click on "Confirm".
5. Create & Configure Google App credentials
- Click on "Credentials".
- Click on "Create Credentials".
- Click on "oAuth client ID".
- Select "Web application".
- Change the internal name if you want.
- Add the following URI under "Authorized redirect URIs".
https://plugin.socital.com/api/v1/auth/callback
- Click on "Create".
- Copy your "Client ID" and "Client Secret".
6. Connect your Google app to Socital
- Log into your Socital account at my.socital.com
- Go to account settings from the top-right corner
- Go to "Connect Social Apps" from the left-hand menu.
- Click on Google.
- Enter an internal name for your Google app.
- Paste the Client ID and Secret you copied in the previous step.
- Click on "Connect".
The application was successfully connected in your Socital account.
