Connect Mandrill to send transactional emails

With our Mandrill integration, you can send transactional emails to leads as soon as they subscribe to your Socital campaigns.


Connect Mandrill to your Socital account

Go to your Mandrill account. 
Go to "Settings" and click on "SMTP & API Info".

Click on "+Add API Key"

Copy your API Key.

Go to Integrations in Account Settings in your Socital account.
Open the drop-down menu in the top right corner and choose “Account Settings”. 

From the left-hand menu open the “Integrations” tab. 

Scroll further down and click on Mandrill.

Add a name to recognize your connected integration.
Paste your Mandrill API Key.
Click on "Connect".

Your Mandrill account is now connected.


Send a transactional email from a campaign

To set up a transactional email to be sent from Mandrill when a visitor subscribes to a campaign, you need to edit your campaign.

Once you have opened the campaign editor, in the "Set up" section scroll further down to go to "Integrations" and click on "Mandrill".

Select the Mandrill account you have connected to your Socital account.
If the side panel is empty, make sure you have connected your Mandrill account.

Select the email template that you want to use for the email that will be sent.

Add the required settings for the email.

Click on "Advanced Options" to configure advanced settings for your Mandrill email.
For more info on the advanced settings, make sure to check Mandrill's documentation.

Click on "Done".

Your Mandrill integration is now set up.
Every time a visitor subscribes to your campaign an email will be sent to them from Mandrill.

Don't forget to save your campaign.
