On the Socital Platform you can segment your users and create a Custom Audience by using multiple filters like gender, age, location and interests. The segmentation is really fast and simple!
Step 1: Create your Custom Audience
1.Go to the “Custom Audience” tab.
This is your initial Dashboard. Here, you can see an overview of the data collected from all the customers that have connected with you through your Socital plugins.
2. Segment your Audience.
On the left sidebar you can see a list of all the different filters that Socital offers. All these filters can be used to segment your Audience. All you have to do is navigate through the filters, and pick the ones that you want to use to create a Custom Audience. You can use multiple filters at the same time, to create an even more homogeneous Audience.
For example, let’s say you want to create an Audience with all your customers that are men, and most likely to get married soon. Go to your filters and check “Male” under the Gender filter as well as “25-35” and “35-45” under the Age filter.
Notice how the data on your Dashboard change as you keep adding filters!
3. When you have applied all the filters you need, you can see the aggregated data of the new Custom Audience you have created on your Dashboard!
Step 2: Save your Custom Audience
Now it’s time to save your Audience! Saving your Custom Audience will allow you to use it again in the future, without having to create it again. Plus, every time a customer that matches those filters connects with you through your Socital plugins, he will be automatically added to the Custom Audience, and you won’t have to do a thing! To save your Custom Audience:
1. Click on “Manage Audiences” on the upper left corner of the Dashboard.
2.Name your new Audience and click “Save Audience”.
Tip: Use a name that will make it easy for you to recognize your Audience in the future!
