Through Socital’s Mandrill integration you can send customized transactional emails directly from your Mandrill account to the customers that have subscribed through a Socital plugin on your website. These emails can be order confirmations, welcome emails, receipts or any other transactional email.
Step 1 Get your API key from Mandrill
1. Go to Mandrill.
2. Login to your account through Mailchimp.
3. Select “Settings” from the menu on the left-hand side.
4. Click on “+ New API Key”.
5. Copy the API Key that is generated.
Step 2 Connect your Socital Account with Mandrill
1. Login to your Socital Account.
2. Open the drop-down menu in the top right corner and choose “Account Settings”.
3. From the left-hand menu open the “Integrations” tab.
4. Click on “Connect a Mandrill account”.
5. In the pop-up enter your App Name the API key you have copied from Mandrill and click on “Connect”.
6. A Success Message will appear.
7. You can now see the connected Mandrill account in the list of your Integrations!
